The Michael Bay-approach to everything Resident Evil these days is far worse than the "forced co-op". AgentX7k 11 years ago #9 The Co-Op was fine in RE6 I thought, RE5 just sucked because you had to do so much baby sitting and micro-managing.

Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 are the games that you're looking for. The online mode works fine on both games. RE5 and 6 are some of the best co-op experiences you can have. 5 is paced better and is generally just a better game, but once 6's combat clicks it's an awesome action game.
Resident Evil 6 has the same system of saving as Resident Evil 5. The game automatically saves in particular places throughout the game. Checkpoints do not mean that the games are saved. There are few Autosave points areas in this game. If you plan to play it continuously, then there will be no problem.
So yeah that was the only situation where online coop didnt work, we skipped that chapter by playing solo until everyone reached a SAVEPOINT (not checkpoint) Oh, yes, yes. It's true. Happened when I (from Indonesia) and my friend (from Malaysia) fighting that invisible giant snake called "Iluzija".
