Auto gearbox problem. Hi I have a 2011 ceed 3 1.6 crdi automatic, last week it developed a problem it seems to be stuck in one gear seems like 2nd or 3rd. Management light is on and it's shows a gearbox solonoid. I got the filter and fluid changed but no difference. Problem is my garage quoted £3000 as the box has to be sent to a specialist
The clutch itself is medium weighted and pleasant to use. Both controls make the regular changes necessary to maintain an assertive stride in the Ceed easy to execute. Kia CEED 1.6 CRDi 2 NAV

Three months ago, I unfortunately put 15 litres of unleaded petrol in my Cee'd's (diesel) fuel tank, which already had approximately 13 litres of diesel in it. ( I had been preoccupied with a serious medical condition and had refuelled my wife's petrol car on several occasions around that time.)
I bought a 1.6 petrol automatic kia ceed in January and I've recently been having some real issues with the gearbox and/or clutch and it can be unsafe at times to drive it because of these issues. It only seems to happen when the engine is cold but below are a couple examples of the issues I'm facing. The other day when I was leaving work I
Avoid the sportiest engine, the 2.0D. It’s loud and crude. The 1.6 diesel is the newest engine and the pick. But if your budget can just stretch to the entry level 1.6 pro_cee’d2 (more crazy
